The Gift of Family

Meet Harley and Bailey

…two fun-loving and silly boys! This photo shoot was extra special because it was a surprise for their Mom (who was in the hospital) and Dad (who was deployed). The power of family and the unconditional love and joy of two happy dogs is an amazing healing tool, and I’ve witnessed how transformative it can be for families in the military (who are often subjected to a high-level of emotional stressors). I LOVE projects like these because I’m truly grateful to be able to use my photography skills and passion to help bring happiness to those in need.

These rascals hammed it up for the camera – no one here was camera shy! Bailey used his giant tongue to lick me and the camera (and the tree, and the blade of grass, and that random object over there) whenever he could, while Harley was preoccupied with making giant spit bubbles on the side of his mouth! These two made me laugh for almost the entire photo shoot!
